Wow, i am so excited for the start of deer season. Im dreaming about it, day dreaming about it, i just cant wait. I feel like a little kid on christmas eve...... Anyone else have this problem? Making sure im not going crazy.

yup, it feels just like when i was a kid on christmas eve. I can sleep, all i think about is getting out there heh heh.

Every year when Autumn gets here I feel that way; my trucks get filled with fall fishing equipment, waterfowl gear and then deer hunting stuff. The well organizd basement gets wrecked as I throw stuff about looking for a certain piece of gear......cool nights and early morning scouting trips fill my senses.......

AHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhh.....hunting season is upon us.....

I must check the probable weather forecast 3 times a day...lol...I almost count my self lucky not ever getting bucks or decent sized bucks on cam...for it would drive me over the edge waiting and planning....I just can't wait to go out to stands I don't usually hunt a lot...or during the rut and see whats up...relax...take a book and read

Tug you are preaching to the choir! I've been thinking about it since it ended last year and it's been getting worse ever since. Only 9 LOOONNNGGG DAYS TO GO!!!!

Yeah I have "The Itch" also ... I go over in my head what did I do last year that I wont or should'nt do this year , the ladder stand creaked when I turned in it for a better shot and it spooked the buck last year .. have to tighten it up before season start . Quit Smoking ... at least during season (I always fail at this one) ! So many things to remember , then I take the shot and think - where's my son to drag LOL !

We'll here goes; Coming back from a shopping excursion last night, I had a nice, nice, and nice buck cross right in front of the car. He came to a high fence and couldn't jump it, to close. He came back into the road right next to us, and flew right over that wire. All to the amazement of my wife and I. Been scratching like mad ever since, lol.
