show me the ropes

military member new to new york and unfamiliar with the area. I haven't been hunting in about 6 years and i am looking for someone to kind of show me the ropes again. deer bird whatever just need to get outside. modern firearm.

i live in ballston spa and willing to travel all over new york on my weekends

never heared of ballston spa? have you tried your local rod/gun club? several of the clubs around here (cayuga county) try to point people into the right direction as far as hunter,places to hunt ect ect. keep us posted as to how you make out and best of luck to you.

there is a gun club near me ill check it out. any state stipulations as to whether or not i can have my rifles shipped from washington? also ballston spa is the ugly neighbor of saratoga springs.

You shouldn't have a problem having your guns shipped, just some NY laws about mag capacity and folding stocks, etc.
