13BVET
I was just wondering if anyone on here, who doesn't live in the Hudson Valley, has renewed their drivers license recently. In order to renew mine, I have to pay $80.50 because of the damned MTA fees. I have never in my life used the MTA, and yet, I'm being raked over the coals. I just simply can't afford to keep paying these illegal fees.

NYbuck50
We live in one of the most liberal state's in the Union, these people piss away other peoples money like water. What did you expect?
joe12
if you live in an area serviced by the MTA, there are all kinds of taxes levied to support it - whether you use the buses or trains or not. In addition to the drivers license taxes, there is an MTA payroll tax that every employer in the area has to pay. Just another taxpayer fleecing by the rip-off liberal capital of the world!
