POS Peep Site

My peep site keeps sliding a bit and throwing my aim off. I have had to resight my bow twice now this week.

Has this happened to anyone else before?

Any common fixes for getting that thing to stay in place!!

It happens to me. I was too cheap and tuned my bow myself. You can mark it with white out or get the peep that has serving above, below, AND around the split part of the string. tighten up the serving as well.

you need to have it tied in better.... any peep will slide if its not secure in there good enough... if you don't have the string rapping around your peep to secure it to the main spit string than go get it tied in better.... had same one for three years now on the same string and never moved...

It was super tight when it was installed. I could barely move it for adjustments without tremendous effort. Now, it moves quite a bit easier. Wasn't sure if I was missing something.

I will just mark it I guess.

I dont use a stinking peep site. I use the No-peep by timberline

For sure - after all adjustments are made. Also a quality string goes a long way to ending rotation

and the need for tubing. Check it all again after at least 50 shots to be sure nothing has changed.

How do you eliminate the tubing?

A good string like Winner's Choice will have no stretch - especially after a being shot in.

The peep will tern to the same spot each time and no tube is needed to pull it around.

Takes some a couple adjustments to get it right and pretty much need a bow press, but once done

is great.

Beach look up a G5 meta peep, those are one brand of many that don't require a tube. I love mine.

I will thanks. I have learned a lot this year from the people on this forum. I have lots of ideas for the off season to keep me busy.
