early season ( late sept. through early Oct.) rubs

I have been setting stands and scouting some new property and I have only seen one fresh rub. Has anyone been seeing any buck rubs yet? If so are they spread out or have there been the normal rub lines like later in the year?

Saw my first rub of the year yesterday (9/28). Been looking too. I've also found 3 scrapes, 2 have just opened up since 9/27.

Dang, tore up. I have yet to see any scrapes. I did see a small buck trying to stick is nose up a does tail then Chase her a little. There is no way of course tht I'm saying the rut is here or anything. But, you could tell he was hoping.

Checked cams yesterday. There's a spike and a 5pt still hanging together, then there's a 6pt and an 8pt together.

No rubs, but the scrapes came alive on the 27th. We're starting to pop!

The neighbor saw two decent bucks hanging together this past Thursday. They were just milling around the edge of a field picking at some clover.

So far I have found one rub line but no scrapes. Going out today for another look around.

Checked cam yesterday I hung up on a scrape last week. 1,200 pics later, Two or three different eight pointers one is definite shooter. Last pic of two bucks together was friday afternoon. Eight pointer keeps showing up between 7:15-8 rather consistently. Got a few pictures of bucks sparring and a fox with no tail? Lot of scrapes and several rubs around.

Saw a couple rubs similar to those of Oblivs on Saturday in PA...saw some very small ones on my way out of the stand today. I'll grab pics of both the next time I get to each stand.
