Over 70 shots fired

This morning I was in Groveland . I heard some shots , then more and more . Over 70 shots were fired in a 1 1/2 hour period . The sounds were west of me and a ways off . Too many for target practice . Is it possible that goose hunters might be having a field day ?

duck season opened here today. Maybe there too

It sure wasn't a 22 and not rifle shots either . A lot of the farmers have ponds so I thought possible geese . Also a lot of corn fields have been cut .

Lots of farm fields and 1/2 mile from the lake.

Sure it was waterfowl.
