mac
Which cuts of meat do you choose to gift to someone? in this case it is a friend of a co-worker/good friend. Just wanted to offer a smaller pack of maybe some steak meat. The straps & loin I usually only share with family or when I have people visit. But just a friendly offering, figured I'd see what others have think. Dont want to give away the best and dont want to give away to lower cuts either. steve863
I think the best way to give venison, is to give them something that is already prepared to eat. This way you can prepare it properly and the person can get a taste of how good it can really be. Just giving raw venison to people fails more times than not. People just screw it up in the cooking since they have never prepared it before and typically come to the conclusion that it tastes like crap. mac
I gave it to someone who has eaten it before and is familiar with ways to cook it. But yah otherwise, its best to invite them over and prepare it correctly yourself.
