Scope & Mounts for Savage 220 Slug Gun

For those of you who own the Savage 220 slug gun , what scope and mounts are you using ?

I have a leoupold 2-7 scope and believe they are weaver rings.

I bought mine at Beikirchs and they set it up there, but were very knowledgeable (llike they always are) about what mounts to use and why..

I know that some people have had issues with 3" slugs ejecting and believe that is due to an issue with mounting the scope incorrectly.

I have never had an issue with my gun and am always amazed at how accurate it is.

Since you are in Ontario, I would suggest a trip over there to ensure you get it right. Plus, I have always found their pricies to be very good (..not to mention the advice and expertise is priceless)..

I'm using a Burris 2x7 on Leopold rings. I know the base was a problem! I had taken it to Campsite (local gun shop) and was hooked up!

I use the EGW mount and rings but they were expensive. I am sure there is a more reasonable alternative. I had a an elite 3200 scope around and it works great.
