Shed hunting destinations

Hey all,

Was thinking bout starting to do some shed hunting here soon. I'm from the CNY area and have always considered looking in state parks and town parks that harbor deer. Just curious if anyone has ever shed hunted in Green Lakes state park? I always see a shit ton of deer when I go out there!

What do deer have to do with it? Just go to Home Depot or Lowes, they have tons of sheds to choose from. <grin>

Keep driving south to where the land meets the sky.

Once you get to the end there's a big cliff that drops down into the valley.

Make sure you got a good head of steam and keep driving straight.

When do they drop? My xmas game camera just picked up a suburban deer still holding his rack on 1/8/13.
