I'm upset with all those who were told this would happen, but continued to support all calls for a ban on "assault weapons".

Maybe now they see, it wasn't about black guns, it's about EVERY gun! Nobody is going to knock on your door and take your guns? It's beyond uninformed and naive, it is plain stupid.

I suspect most of them are beginning to see the error of their ways. They have all faded into the background and don't seem to have a lot to say these days. Now it remains to be seen whether or not they man-up, recognize they were wrong and join in the fight against this law and any future incursions into our rights (soon to come from the Feds).

Looks like Obama might not get his "assault weapons" ban. That's good for the country, as a whole, but....where does it leave us in NY? Let's hope we see a formal move to repeal...SOON!!!
