Recommended Posts

This is an interesting analysis on whether Congress or the President actually has the power to ban or regulate guns.

it looks like a cult, a room full of antis cheering each other on....

Is the president still mentioning deceased children in his speeches? "15 year old girl who performed in my inauguration and a week later she was shot and killed" please tell me what are the odds of a girl who performs at the presidents inauguration was shot and killed 1 week later by a gunman??????????

you have a better chance of winning the lottery i would think.

makes me sick just listening to him talk about gun control. but to reply about weather the president or congress has the power, id say so far they are doing pretty well. doesnt look like they are stopping weather they have the power or not.

In My Opinion, NO the congress/president have no right what so ever to dictate to me what i am allowed to own. PERIOD, any politicians who think different should be removed from office. however if any of you were watching you might have noticed that our government is a bunch of liars trying to outdo each other. i think we need to follow the example of (i think it was) Greenland and fire ALL of our government officials and replace them. this country is going down the drain and im not sure how we are gonna stop it...

Actually in answer to the topic title, they have the right to try. It is up to the courts and voters to straighten them out.

That was kind of what I was going to say... but really the question doesn't mention "right" it mentions "power"... we have seen over the years that the government has the power to do a lot of things they aren't suppose to... their abuse of power and ability to get away with it is what's scary.
