Has anyone ever tried their Kura Clover? I have read a bunch of good stuff about it on Ed Sp. site. Sounds hard to get established.

Fall plant with a WR cover in my opinion.

I REALLY like Alice white clover. I think outside of a few varieties, clover plots are the same as long as they can take grazing pressure and the cold conditions here - at least from the common man's management POV. If you're into heavy management of a big block of ground, then that changes things, but there's a point where returns are no longer ascernible. Mix in some red, some hearty whites, and fall plant with something to help it focus on root structure and come in strong the following year.

The only other local place near me I know is Turner's in Hemlock. I get lime, feterlizer, landio clover and winter rye from Jim.

Thanks for the reply. Maybe the name Cranmer or Cramer Mill. Years ago, it use to be Dibbles.

Maybe more in the Lima area.

Oh yes, Cramers in Honeoye Falls. They closed about the time Tracter Supply opened.

I placed my order yesterday...Jumbo and Alice clovers....Sainfoil and Ground hog radish...this will go along with the Power Plant...Tall tine...Corn...grain sorghum...WW and BW I have plans to plant.
