just stay away during race week!

I see that but could not find a schedule so i took that as i was going to be there at the right time .

I have been to Nashville twice. Darn lay-overs. lol. Tennesee is beatiful country, enjoy it!

Thanks tug, i might just be staying 1 night. Honestly my biggest concern is not being in a ghetto and being able to stay in a clean place and being ground level so i am able to park right in front of room. If i don't feel comfortable then i move on

the 2 big ones are saint patricks day week end, and the weekend of aug. 23. if your going on a site seeing tour may i suggest taking skyline drive? its part of the appilachin trail that runs thought va. you can pick it up in winchester va, and hop off at charlottesville. some of the best views you will find on your trip down. it very slow going (double the time of the highways) but if its sight seeing you want you wount be disappointed.
