Paula
Thats too bad, hopefully when you find out whose land you have been hunting on they will allow you to continue to hunt and in turn you can watch property
TeeBugg
I was disgusted with the mess... last season before i found any of the propane tanks i had turkeys all over that area. The day the meth head came in and talked to my decoys it all went downhill after that. No tracks no feathers no gobbling nothing. Deer activity went south as well. Hoping i can get him outta there. bowaholic
Marijuana grow. The criminals who do this usually camp close by to over watch their grows. Was there water near by? Thats another clue to look for. Looks like they have been there a while so i'm sure the "crop" has been cultivated already. Keep any eye out in the spring/summer months for beat down trails with human tracks and this kind of garbage.
TeeBugg
Weve hunted it for years and never found a grow. Just as of maybe last spring did i start to see the cans. Found a few and figured it was some kids camping or what have u. But this is ridiculous. Hoping to find the owner and let him know about this. Paula
did you ever think what you would do if you are not going to be allowed on there anymore?
TeeBugg
As far as i know my father and his best friend gained permission years ago. But i no longer communicate with them. We all still hunt the area and if we see each other its a friendly hello hows the hunting. My plan was to ask if it was ok to hunt there and offer to help post the land as well as clean it up. bart
Some work harder to illegally dump their trash than to simply take care of it properly, I don't get it???
TeeBugg
did you find out who owns the land, have you talked to anyone? Yep. Its cool that im there. As far as the junk i was basically told to watch for people or cars and try and get some info on them.
