dbHunterNY
haven't trying that many but i've picked up a Down-N-Dirty Outdoors Boogeyman Barred Owl call. works pretty good with a little practice. it also doesn't take up as much space as many of the others. Lawdwaz
Best owl hooter out on the market today? Looking to try a new locator, i have had success with a crow call but i am looking to add another call to the vest lol. Two things: I use an Olt owl hooter and really like it. An owl hooter and crow call are two absolutely necessary calls that should be in every turkey hunters bag of tricks. Generally I use the owl hooter from about 4:30am until I hear the first crow. Then I'll use the crow call for most early morning locating. Sometimes, if I know a gobbler is pretty close or maybe coming I'll hoot quietly to see if I can get him to gobble without me making a hen call.
