crud ring

I have a crud ring in my gun and I'm having time getting it out any suggestions on removing the ring.

Cant give you any advice on the ring but once you do get it out try using Blackhorn 209 powder. I've fired hundreds of rounds thru my CVA without ever having the dreaded crude ring issue....

Tip- In the off season, I usually seal my bore off at both ends with bore butter(after it's cleaned). I also store my BP, nipple, bolt in an airtight baggie after they get cleaned and a good coating of Break-free.

I shoot mine at lease once a every few weeks

Try swabbing some windexwater 50/50 combo then run some good oil down the bore. Or try soaking the barrel in warm soapy water followed by oil. When using T7 you will need to swab the barrel in between shots.

What gun are you using.
