Code Blue Pre-Orbital Gland Scent Test

[Cabin Fever]

I've seen the Code Blue Pre-Orbital Gland Scent before, but was always hesitant to use it on my mock scrapes. I was bored (and a little buzzed ) one night, so I thought I'd do a little shopping. I thought it might be interesting to test it out during the off season. I put it on one over hanging branch over a mock scrape that I started last fall, on a tree in one spot and on a random grape vine over a trail in another. Since then, about 90% of the bucks and ~75% of the does that pass stop by to smell it. Not sure if it helped draw them in or if they would have passed by anyways. None seemed alarmed at all. It passed my test and I'll probably start using it on my mock scrapes this fall.

Anyone else used the stuff?

highly recommend smokeys pre-orbital. not cheap but my results have been amazing.

Could use your or any other scent and get the same results. Just curious/different smell on their way past.

I have it out now, mixed results ..I have had some come right to it and others pass it by

Still pretty early for heavy scrape use. Deer, both doe and buck will hit scrapes all year but I wouldn't worry too much about mid august activity.

I just peed on the scrape and a little on my hands and rubbed the leaves.. worked like a charm
