Skillet
We've seen in growing while hunting around Rochester. And no, I didn't report it. Not my land, none of my business, & congrats to that guy for getting away with it. Edited October 13, 2013 by Skillet
Pygmy
I have found the remains of weed plots several times... It was always on private property and on one particular property I'm pretty sure the landowner is the one cultivating the stuff. I always keep my mouth shut and mind my own business. The one property is rabbit heaven...What concern is it of mine if the landowner wants to cultivate a little wacky weed for his own use or to help pay the taxes ? I'm just grateful he gives me permission to hunt there.
HectorBuckBuster
I found some this year on my property.Called the sheriffs department and they waited a few weeks until they took up the helicopter before they pulled the plants.
sampotter
Every year when chopping corn our crop crew finds it. It's never a matter of if, just where is it going to be this year. Funny thing is it always seems to go through the chopper and the pothead never gets to harvest it. You'd think that when you see all the silage trucks rolling it would be a tip that you needed to go get your stuff...

TeeBugg
Pretty sure we have a guy or guys making meth on one spot we hunt. Tons of water bottle thrown everywhere and hundreds of those 1# propane tanks. Asked someone and they said sounds like someone cooking meth. Ive never seen anyone in there, but ive cleaned up the mess only to have another mess a month later. If i do catch anyone in there im gonna have some choice words. Actually i do remember a guy walking up to my turkey decoys and talking to them a few years back. My son an i were like wtf? You cant see my blind 15 yards away? Thought maybe a nut got loose from the crazy house Edited October 13, 2013 by TeeBugg
Lever action
I was posting our property a few years ago,and there is parts of our property that I only see while posting. While posting one these areas I discovered an area that someone had cleared by cutting young trees and sapplings. In this cleared area I found a pot plant that had been cut already.I called the sherriff and a deputy was there in 20 mins.We found several more plants.I didn't know pot plants grew so big. There was a beaten path going right to the neighbors. So it wasn't hard to figure out who it was.I even got restitution for the trees he cut down.
Carpy744
Booby trapping a weed plot sounds extremely stupid to me. A good way to get a murder or assault some kind of nasty felony by killing or almost killing someone who accidentally walked into your pot.
