Could have poked it in a fight and the reflective. Overinf was damaged or developed something over the years. I've had a few bucks on camera that had one eye non reflective also had a doe as well and a racoon. Sometimes these critters move through some thick brush and they get poked and scratched, enough to cause damage to the reflective covering.

Its a buck for sure.

I can tell beyond a shadow of a doubt its a 6.4576 year old buck, on the down slope after an injury sustained while fighting a larger buck two years ago today. Weighs between 162 and 163.61 pounds dressed, likes clover but will eat corn. He likes the color burnt orange and loves the smell of fresh baked apple pie.

How did I do?

Thanks Geno...looks like his head was just turned at the right angle...Hey...no matter it's a buck and they are piling in just as I said they do every year...right on time...lol...have several others that are smaller spikes 4,5,6 a couple of OK 8's...now just to find out where they are moving and when ...during day light...the big boys have this area saturated right now....I can't even tell ya how many truck doors I heard and beams of light I saw at 5:45 this morning....I'm just hoping some of those smaller 8's fill a few of the tags around

Its actually not the covering that's reflective, its the inner eye. If an eye is not reflecting, its most likely blind in that eye for these nocturnal animals.

You must have traveled back in time with emmit brown. Say, can you use that machine to mess with the election count when Obama was sent to office?

The part that allows them to see is behind the eye no? I'm sure there would be a reflective part infront? Lol I'm no dr just my guess with over the years of seeing one eye deer. I have multiple pics of em on dif days so i know it's not just the angle
