A Canandaigua man shot himself in the leg with a 44cal handgun . 48 year old Kevin Perrin shot himself when his handgun discharged in his holster . A foreign object -possibly a tree branch-activated the trigger as Perrin was stepping over a tree trunk .

Oh that was it a 44 not 45......another guy shot him self the night before in the leg...in his bathroom...cleaning a loaded weapon...I prefer to clean mine after triple checking it's unloaded..but to each their own ..lol

safety is in your brain.  if it was strapped in a holster with the strap over the hammer, his story seems unlikely.  My guess he was messing with it

He may have been carrying the pistol in his hand , tripped and shot himself . People change their stories so they don't look so stupid .

People shoot themselves or others and say they know they had the safety on . Bull Crap !
