Elmo
I'm not a subscriber so I only read the preview but just from the preview I can tell the author doesn't know what he's talking about. In the preview he list "a New Yorker with hawk nesting on your high-rise" as one of the "pests problems". In reality, wawks were purposely introduce to NYC to help with the rat and pigeon problem.
WNYBuckHunter
He didnt call hawks pests, he described them as fawna that people are living with close by, on a more frequent basis.
Elmo
When I was working down by Wall Street, they introduced 3 hawks into Battery Park to cull the rat and pigeon problem there. One day, one of the hawks mistaken some lady's Chihuahua for a rat (or did he?). She hung on to the leash for her dog's life. After that, they abandoned the Battery Park hawk program. crappyice
Can you blame the hawk? I bet some of those NYC rats are as big as a chihuahua!
Elmo
They look like rats too. Sucks. I use to enjoy sitting out there during the summer eating my lunch and watching those hawks.
