growalot
So I'm driving from one town to ours and start seeing corn on the road as I drive the road is covered...now the road and both edges are yellow...this is a main busy busy hwy...15...Oh boy..I know someones stepped in it...... for what I first thought to be wind blown ...I realize his gate isn't locked...I'm thinking it's going to the big farm from dryer...no it continued on for 7 miles until it finally started to thin out...LOL really he dropped the entire load of corn ...apparently one has no need for side mirrors.....here's my surprise...corn still there all along the side of road .....two weeks later...but no deer carcases Edited December 12, 2013 by growalot

DROpTINE
The question is how many people did you see sweeping it up into bags or pales? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
growalot
Really ...when we came through after my surgery I had told Mr. B about it....he was skeptical as to how much corn there was....We were both surprised to see both sides of the road looking like the yellow brick road ...after so long...and again no dead deer...turkey ...not even a squirrel....Now they use HUGE dump trucks to haul corn around here...that was a lot of corn....He couldn't believe...... all that way and the guy never looked in side mirrors...no one tried to tell him...I bet there were a few ticked off cars that passed him in the other lane.....lol
bluecoupe
Dunno.... no police report? No pictures? I'd be more apt to believe there are mountain lions there. (J/K)
growalot
Haha!...but Steve there is at least one member here that lives in the area...in fact not far from that road I believe...be a fool to spin a story that could be denied by another member
growalot
There would be a lot of hungry dairy cattle...I know that the corn grown around here is RR because they came up and sprayed...but all that is chopped for silage and placed in huge concrete bunkers covered with tarps and tires
genesee_mohican
At $4.12 a bushel that had to be quite an expensive trip. What to do those wagons hold? 1000 bushel?
growalot
I don't know but do know several tons...like I said someone stepped in it but good...any one that drove 15 from Wayland NY head toward Hemlock/Rochester has seen it..well until the snow hit..I know there is a dryer on the Marks farm so I assumed it came from there...headed.... I don't know where
