firehunter48
I don't know if any of u can answer this or not but......I live in lovely (sarcasm) Erie County. Im planning on alloying for my pistol permit after the new year. Does the fact that I am permanently disabled help me get approved or will hurt me? I have no record of any kind and no arrests. I am not worried about the background portion. Was just curious as to everyone's thoughts
burmjohn
I think it will have zero impact either way providing its not anything mental.
Daveboone
I cant think of any reason to affect it. If condition made you more vulnerable it could present a stronger argument for it, possibly.

Five Seasons
Zero impact. Good luck. Erie doesn't like to give unrestricted. You'll probably get target and hunting
dbHunterNY
I got mine from Rensselear county but I'd think it'd have zero impact as well. unless you've had a past experience where you feel unsafe with the condition you're. even then it would just maybe give you an advantage of getting a CCW permit right off the bat, without a restriction to target and hunting only. firehunter48
thanks for the help everyone.... it is not for a carry permit.....i liive in ERIE county. that may not ever happen in this county. but didnt know if it would impact in any way or not And NO, its not a mental thing, its all ortho issues
Five Seasons
lets put it this way. Erie gives you reasons to justify the need to cc. it can't hurt so why not try? you will always get your target and game. that's easy. it's the cc that's hard in erie.
