year I'm going to put a post on few bulletin boards offering to donate deer to a local families that could use the meat and know how to process it...we had a bunch of left over tags.....

I donated two this year to my friends family members, nice ones too.  It really tugs at my stomach and taste buds when I do that but in the long run all is good........

Did you have left over tags because you shot what you needed and quit or what ?

Well the knee was the biggest issue this year...and having Mr B  in my ear about being able to handle the work load  dealing with them...part of it was the older doe just did'nt  show during daylight hours during bow season...I couldn't hunt late season...I have no problem with others choosing to shoot fawn or small doe...I prefer not to because it takes just as much work to process a small deer as it does a big one......No buck this year...all on me.  deflected limb...passing small 8's...and low shot ...hit dirt..... under them on two this year...first.for that..

 Next year we won't have the mast we did this....the heard right now is looking fantastic...which could change but not thinking it will..the DEC's already talking more permits being released....might as well help those close by if it's needed and wanted

I give to family and friends that either dont hunt or have been in a financial pinch so they have meat.
