This is all pending appeal. Blocked the requirement to turn over social media accounts. Did away with requirement to turn over data on everyone living with you. Eliminated the face to face interview requirement. Says that private businesses and residences are not sensitive places. OK's carry on public transport such as subways. OK's carry in Times Square. Allows carry in entertainment venues and bars! Probably several other things I'm forgetting. Undoubtedly this will be tied up in the courts for a long time.

That law was a wish list from anti-gun leftists.  They knew most of it would get thrown out as unconstitutional, and it proves they don't follow the Rule of Law because they did it intentionally.

The problem is, a lot of it will not be overturned and NY gun owners will accept what is not overturned, thinking they won this fight.  But if any of the other provisions were proposed on their own, NY gun owners would scream bloody murder about them. This is how we are losing our gun rights in NY.

Did not address handgun training, locked gun cases in cars, at home storage, semi auto rifles, for the down state counties the one to two year wait.
