I went to the gun show today in Hamburg NY, "Niagara Frontier Gun Show" (or something to that effect) and was pleasantly pleased to once again see that the Erie County Pistol Permit people were there to facilitate the sales of handguns for residents of Erie County.

 

I don't know how many years they have been doing that but I believe at least three??  That has really got to help both the vendors and of course the permit holders get the guns in the hands of the LAW ABIDING people. I saw a ton of transaction being done and almost pulled the "trigger" myself but held back.............................  

 

I also saw I believe Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Dept there doing transfers too.

 

So, a big hearty thank you to those Erie County and Cattaraugus County staffers doing a Saturday & Sunday gig to help us all out.

The monroe county pistol permit people are always at the rochester gun shows when they have it at the dome. Makes it easy for those monroe county residents.

I don't know but you should give them a call and if they don't do it now, encourage them to start.

Yes but they could also come to the Rochester Gun Show and man a table like Cattaraugus County did. 

 

Win/Win for the County Clerk's office or the Sheriff's office.

Yeah, it would be nice. The thing with Livingston, is we can purchase coupons and keep them indefinitely before we use them. I have a couple in my pocket right now that I picked up last March. I can go to the gun show and leave with my handgun right then and there, dont need them to have a table.
