Starting to hit my mock scrapes

The cold weather is starting and I’m getting more visits

How do you buff up your scrapes? You add some doe piss too and a little feed or just go with the the scrape and lick branch ?

I pee in mine every time I walk pass it.  I have some great luck doing it.

To be honest , I scrape it with a rake, tie a vine to a rope between two trees

Then I pee in it

Usually that same night there are deer there

Yesterday I went up with a leaf rake and raked the path to my ground blind and tree stand.

Less than an hour later there were deer looking around

Raking is to minimize noise making when you enter/exit, right? I mean, thats not attracting the deer- or is it?

Are these genuine scrapes that you sort of added to or you created them completely yourself?  Also, is it too late to set 1 up now, you think?

Not late at all, start one now and put a camera on it and you will be surprised

I do it so I can walk in silent , but it seems to attract them

I made them , the one you can see I tied a rope between the two trees and wired a vine to it so they rub their face on it

Not sure , they seem to use it
