New Xbow guy

I just picked up a new Xbow.  Well, actually a leftover, but it's only been fired about 30 times.  It's a Scorpyd 165 that I shot through the chrono at 413 this afternoon with a 400 grain bolt with field points. I can't wait til Nov 1 to go after deer with this thing.

If I remember correctly, you were previously just a gun hunter right?

Yes Belo, I've only ever hunted with firearms.  I did buy a bow earlier this year, however, I'm finding it difficult to find a bowhunter safety course that fits into my schedule.  If I'm unable to find a course that works for me, I'll be able to take the xbow out on 11/1 and extend my season 2 weeks.  It'll also allow me to hunt from my blind, which I won't do with the vertical bow because I have yet to master shooting a vertical bow from a seated position.
