Black Bear vs Coyote

Nice to see a bear and a coyote staring down each other.  I wonder what brought them together?  Berries, a kill or just crossing paths?

I would think that the coyote unless he had friends wouldn't stand a chance.  One good swat and the dog would make the term leaving with your tail between your legs become real.

Interesting picture. Knowing that bears are run by dogs, it makes you wonder why this bear seems to be going out of his way for a confrontation.
