PREDATE
strange..... all the cams I nab from state woods are always nameless and btw I have 2 camo chairs for whoever is interested! lol Yeah that is bs. I'm not condoning lying, but maybe just tell the judge/magistrate that you had just walked back to your car to grab your laminated info card or that nature called and the ranger wouldn't stop as you chased after him and that in your haste you wiped with poison ivy. Now you want the ranger to pay you for punitive damages to your ass. Lol. wow I need some sleep!
Lawdwaz
In vermont anything you leave on state land must have your name on it. Never heard that here in NY. You have to go get it unless you didn't give your name. Is your picture on the cam? Next time I smoke a deuce on State Land I'll leave my business card tucked in also...........................................
Doc
So, you actually found a Ranger/warden who got out of their car and into the woods. That really is incredibly bad luck. I would have sworn that was impossible unless the camera was strapped to a tree next to the parking lot. It appears that no matter what you do or how much you read, you are likely breaking some sort of law everytime you go out. Nobody, not even the LEOs know all the laws. No matter what.....you are a crook!.....lol.
Red
My face is on the trail cam if I don't show up to pick it up the ranger will probably end up posting my picture on billboards and stuff saying wanted man leaving trail camera on state land watch out he's considered armed and dangerous lol
Five Seasons
that sucks. most parks do have some pretty descriptive rules and this one wouldn't surprise me if it were true. I've hunted some that allow permanent stands and others that don't. it all depends.
