Labeling Stands on Public Land

[Cabin Fever]

Considering hunting some public land. I understand that the stands have to be labeled with the owners name and contact info. For the ones that have to do this, do you just write on the stand with a marker or are there tags that you can use that won't wash off or ..... ?

 

Hesitant to write my cell # on the stand as a contact, wondering what some anti-whack-job could do with my cell # if they wanted to?

when I was putting them on State land I etched my info right on them.

I made a tag our of a plastic file folder. Cut the corner off and wrote my info on it with a sharpie. Attached it to the stand with a key ring. Seems to have worked well for the last few years.

Great idea, I would imagine any type of recyclable plastic would work with a sharpie.

I use a dremel and etch my name and phone on it

Bought some letter punches. Work well
