I cant tell any secrets yet from last weekends trip. Headed back to camp Wednesday night for the long weekend. Will be spending lots of time on that road the next 30 days!.

Nah, No Worries. We will not put to much hurt on them until you guys show up. I must say that the C cabin area will be much quieter now that this gang has the new camp outside the Castile entrance. Man its nice to have the best of home now at our fingertips and some of the best hunting in Ny state 3 miles up the road!    We made a very large hanging pole!!!!

The east side is seeing a lot more pressure this year during bow it seems. I've been hunting mid park east side a few times, saw a few small bucks but it's been pretty quiet so far. I think the early season pressure in some areas will have the mature deer well educated by now.

Any body know of any good meat cutters in the area?

And does anyone know of a place near park with a place to hang deer (cooler) I'd it gets too warm?

Grizzly's, just a few miles south of the south entrance of the park..  Bet processor I have used by far.  They let the deer hang and age..  what a difference!!!

I saw a dozen doe this weekend in Letchworth but no bucks. Only shot I had was a doe 10 yds. behind me but there was a tree blocking the vitals , a few more steps....  she heard a noise across the woods from me and trotted off directly away from me. Buddy had a small buck in range but he wasn't positive it was legal so he didn't shoot.
