DirtTime
I have to use the "More Reply Options" button on the bottom. Add text then the pic, and then post.

TreeGuy
I would say it's 8-10" tall and 2-3" wide..... from what I have learned over the years is spikes will rub telephone poles and booners will rub saplings, and vise versa. The only way to tell for sure is a trail cam or check around the base of the tree for tracks and judge of size, which still isn't the best method. skully
Anything could have did that. I have watched decent size bucks annihilate trees in like 3 minutes. You would have thought a pope and young deer would have done it and it was not even close.

Taylormike
Ok. I was just throwing the question out there. Like I said, a few are torn up. I don't hunt that piece often, maybe 3 sits a year. Its a 5 acre wooded lot surrounded by 60/70 acre fields all around. Its a nice spot but have to puts in lots of sits before they make their way through.
Terry
How high off the ground is it?
Taylormike
I would guess 3 ft.
Terry
The rubs I have seen that I am confident came from mature buck due to patterning the buck then killing him, usually approach about 4 foot off the ground at the highest part of the main rub mark. There still sometimes is nick marks higher than that.
