Shot at 50 yards out of a ground blind,during a week end youth hunt . I took this 2 legged deer about 5 years ago IIRC. She was a beauty of a doe, real nice mature old doe. I didn't think she'd make it through the winter. I figure they doe of starvation with the first week or two after losing their legs or once the mother doe stops feeding them.
