I'll start it off with three of the four I dropped the first week.

My scope crapped the bed, so no video of these hunts.

Dropped this one Sat Am after a long day at work.

Sleep is overrated.

Got the X50 scope back this afternoon and they were able to recover some of the videos.

This is the dog I dropped at close range in the harvested corn field.

It came from a long ways away and traveled through the cow herd before it met its demise.

Wind was coming from the left, so it never knew we were there.

Female of the Alpha pair we took out yesterday at 160+ yards.

Dropped this one Friday Pm after a friend called up and asked me to pay a visit to address a coyote issue.

Luckily it gets dark early so I could get some sleep before hunting deer the next day.

Big male that was looking to fight.

Don't come to a gunfight without a gun.

This one thought it could sneak away into the woods after coming to within 20 yards from my six.

My Buddy and I got a few productive hours in before the rain came down.

Lone injured male I called in after hearing it barking during set up of our first stand of the night.

143 yards.

Dropped this lone male after sneaking into a stand downwind of it.

.20 cal 41 gr Tipped Hammer Hunter's did the job.

Primary scope crapped the bed again, so I got some time behind the back up RIX L3 scope.

Got this video of a fox that came in on a string, but lucky for it that it wasn't on the menu.

Stopped it with a mouth squeak.

Dogs have been scarce since taking out the Alpha's, so it was great to see the Beta dogs coming in, but not so great missing.

It happens.

A friends NocPix S50R scope.

Great thermal scope but you still need to put the crosshairs on them to hit them.

Got a few hours to hunt before the storm hits.

Lone female at 208 yards.

Came in from over four hundred yards away howling like a male.

.243 ended the noise.

Been awhile since we've seen a dog at this farm.

Warm weather has them traveling around. 

My buddy dropped a single dog of the three I called in from over 600 yards away.

Big male at 148 yards with his enhanced Savage Impulse Predator 22-250/Nocpix Ace H50R.

This is what happens when you have a bum hand, forgot to take the tripod because you only have one hand to grab the rifle, fall over a fence in your attempt to get a freehand shot at a dog that's been eluding you for months, forget you have a bum hand and can't take a second shot because you can't feel your fingers after cycling the action with your bum hand.

To add insult to injury, there were two dogs in the field and my buddy was trying to let me know one dog was sitting 50 yards to my right side the whole time I was trying to sneak into range to get a shot and I didn't see it because I turned my comm's off.

[First-light]

I'm seeing a lot of fox and yotes on trail cameras. Is it mating season? Seeing a bunch of fox in daylight hours also.

Ended the dismal 2024/2025 Predator season dropping three coyote.

I took off Thursday + Friday being the weekend was called to be a washout.

First stop was at a buddy's camp I've been trying to get to, but the deep snow had the seasonal road closed.

This strawberry blonde female came in silent and ran right by me into the food plot, but it didn't run fast enough.

The second dog was part of a pair that was chasing deer on a ridge.

After an hour snow/sleet/rain delay where I hunkered down under a pine tree with my tactical stealth scooter I was able to call them into range and lucky enough for the male to stop in a sparsely wooded spot where I could get a quick shot.

Tried to coax the female back into range, but no luck as the rain moved in and soaked me.

The third dog I dropped at a beef farm in Orange county.

Dropped the male dog two weeks ago and figured the female would be hanging around looking for a mate or calve.

It was howling the whole way to the field so much that I thought it was someone playing a joke on us.

She didn't need anymore shots after the first, but being it was the last days of the season we let the bullets fly.
