They drive me nuts but more than once I have dismissed a sound that came from a direction where squirrels have been active, only to finally look over and see a deer standing there. NYBowhunter Posted November 11, 2014 Share Posted November 11, 2014 They can be annoying...but there have been many a times i used those little red bastards to alert me that a deer was coming.they will bark at anything.not many greys by me, mostly reds.Any greys i have seen were chased almost immediatly by a red.gotta say those reds are ballsy little guys.
