luberhill
So twice now I’ve had this happen and passed on the shot due to deer size ( too small) I have a Vortex crossfire scope with graduations on center at 40 yards then lines above it at 30 and 20 Lines below center at 50 and 60 so I have it dialed in at 40 on centerline . Last night I had a little 4 pointer at me stand no more than 30 ft away from the base of my stand . I was standing and looking down at him. So if this was a shooter .. would I go to the 10 yard mark and aim even lower ?
suburbanfarmer
Is there a speed ring on the scope? If not you need to shoot those distances to see where those lines actually hit on distances. Sniper370 in reality is a slow xbow and with heavier bolts you maybe doing at best 320fps..still plenty fast but not for 40yrds Shoot the different distances to see where the bolts actually hit and put it on a paper and tape it to the bow.

First-light
We sighted in the xbows at 50 yards. Then shot 30 and 10' Tweaked a little at 30 then back to 50 and 10 and they were fine.
