Saw my first on the way to Hornell yesterday. was't mangled just laying dead in the middle of the road. You may think I'm crazy but I stoped and threw it in the weeds on the side of the road. I totally made sure no traffic was coming. Call me crazy I know. lol

I have seen a lot of turkey buzzards in fields where combines have gone thru, in Niagara/Orleans County. I assume some fawns may have been victims of the combines.

Unless they're bloated I do the same thing.

I've put injured deer out of their misery several times too.

Nothing crazy about your actions at all.
