Pygmy
I have had good luck with the Mr. Twister knife.. However, I use it mainly for cleaning fish, rather than general meat carving or butchering chores.

I have same one, saltwater version and it works great on fish but never tried anything else Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Dom
I have never tried using them for cleaning fish/quick work but how would they work for bullhead's?
stoneam2006
I learned how to use a electric knife for fish when I was around 10 yrs old....i haven't done it in years as I throw everything back no but I'm sure I could pick right back up at it....was a very easy/convenient way to clean fish... Pygmy
I have never tried using them for cleaning fish/quick work but how would they work for bullhead's? They work great for filleting bullheads... For skinning/dressing them I can't see much advantage of an electric over a regular knife. greensider
a manual knife is fine for a few fish but an electric is faster when doing a bunch of pannies
ants
I also have the Mr Twister electric knife. I have cleaned tons of fish with it and it still works great and is still pretty sharp. I never did Bullheads with it. Just Pan Fish and Walleyes... A friend of my father showed me how to fillet ,with an electric knife, back in the 70's. I never thought it would catch on. I still have the original blade set on mine and the last time I used it, after doing tons of fish, they still work good. You have two serrated blades going in a sawing motion as opposed to one thin straight edge being pushed through bones. No nicks and dings on the blade. TrailsEndTom
Mine is a GE but I have had it since 1969 and it is still going strong. It is much quicker to use the electric knife when you have a bucket full of fish. I have filleted 199 white perch in 2 hours. That is from bucket to freezer.
