jjb4900
Do tick numbers take a hit from cold weather? I don't believe it kills them......they may slow down, but a warming period in January or February will get them active again.
ATbuckhunter
The snow actually is what kills them. When they fall off a deer and drop on the snow, they usually die. This virus is not "new" to the world but it is extremely rare. Only 8 people have been infected with only in the world, and so far this man is the only documented case of this in the U.S. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Only if EVERY tick riding aboard a deer jumps off SOON.........................if not, they'll be nice and warm; snug as a bug in a rug.
