Lawdwaz
You need a tripod so you can get in on those pics.

landtracdeerhunter
What a nice way to kick into Spring. During a thaw makes it all the nicer!
growalot
I should start hearing them return to the hill the first week in April..weather permitting ...winter winds cold and snow returned last night and today...still mid calf in the woods.... Good luck with that boy Laws...I have a bruiser from my fall cams I hope made it...he was hanging with two others but never came into archery range. ny hunter
When I hear the birds behind my house in the morning I know the snow is gone for this year.Nothing yet
Lawdwaz
Good luck with that boy Laws... LOL.......I don't need luck with him, he lived in the City of Lockport! He's probably dead by now, killed by a neighbors poodle or something. I haven't been to that apartment complex (I was doing a job there and had done many over the years) since late October last year but every time I went you would see a handful to as many as a dozen hens and poults. There never seemed to be many adult gobblers, just jakes. This guy put on quite a show for me, as viewed and photographed from the bathroom window. It was fun watching them, as always. Actually last spring I got some video with my phone of a few gobblers going nuts, just 30 feet from Locust Street in the city. I posted these pics a few years ago of the first encounter...........
