went out with a buddy who picked up a shart bass and nice blue today I lost a good blue he ran out with the line and cut it but i'll be back for him

LOL!  Seriously, I thought it was another type of Bass I wasn't yet familiar with.  I'm not that big of a fisherman, and Large, Smallmouth and Striped are the ones I am most familiar with.  I've heard of many other types, but don't think I've ever caught any.

They are but I don't believe they pose a threat to the ecosystem. They are highly prized by the locals.
