Nasty Storm...

We have been waiting and waiting for all these storms to come through...to get a few sprinkles...Well not last night! it was a turn off the electronics and unplug stuff storm....pink/red lightening and window shaking thunder...the ground is soggy again...but now rain free for a few days so I can get some work done...flash flood warnings went up but I haven't seen the news so don't know if there were any. Hope everyone else came through it fine. Mowed the grass just before it hit...I think it grew an inch over night the air was certainly charged....

We had a good one last night too. lots of lightning and heavy rain. Lost power at some point early this morning. It was back on by the time I got up at 630.

FIL lost power and it's still out....Good thing bringing in some really nice weather for this week..

I opened the back door and the front door and just let the water run through the house last night. Took out part of my driveway too. It's been a long night.

Saved the guns and the computer though;-)

The only place I have that's dry enough to even catch a nap right now is the front seat of my truck. I'm headed there.

OK so if the rest of summer would stay EXACTLY like now...just warm enough for shorts sunny and a wonderful gentle breeze.....nice.......
