Been hunting long time and have heard lots of bucks grunt but never heard one like today. While in East Otto today, heard the loudest most gutteral grunts ever. Definitely tending a doe and I feel sorry for her. Archery is the best.

I had a buck and doe run bumpy 2 days ago, I grunted at him and he grunted his ass off but never even looked my way while running.

Must have been pretty cool to hear. I have yet to hear a grunt.

That is cool. Years ago I had a huge buck tending a doe real close to me. He was making a clicking sound every 10 seconds or so. He wasn't pressing her just following. I missed……….

No....That was just me. I had quite a bit of chili the night before. It wasn't pretty. Yeah, I feel sorry for any does in the area too, or any other living critter for that matter.
