Chenango Deer Camp Success

The 30-30s were the hot guns in deer camp on opening day.. 3 single shots took 3 deer.. A nice 9 pt, a 6 pt and a fat doe... The Tree of Life was blooming..

While everyone in the surrounding camps were crying about the lack of deer, we had them crawling all over with 4 guys in camp seeing 28 deer...

Where in Chenango? I'm in South New Berlin. Saw a small buck before legal light on opening morning. That was it for the weekend.

Daughters friends showed me their deer from the BigFlats area there...They were taking them to the taxidermist down the road. Looks like there are some nice buck being dropped out that way...Congrats

 

Hahaha my bad... thats Chemung county...Oh well I guess they are doing great there to .

Ummm. That's a tree of death And a nice one at that. Good going. That tree have a nice history of deer hanging from it ?
