Steve D
Cuomo Strikes again: Quote from article: "A report released by UFC in 2013 estimated that legalizing MMA would generate $135 million economic activity each year. Budget officials estimate that if the sport is permitted, the state will collect $1 million in annual revenue from license fees and gross receipt taxes on the sale of broadcast rights and tickets. Jeremy K
Isn't it the culinary union the ones to blame for keeping the UFC out of NY? Thats the word in the MMA world.
Merlot
Rather see real economic activity when we used to produce and sell goods....steel, cars, furniture. Now it's stuff like Gambling and kicking someones arse in a cage that produces something?? This stuff is considered main stream but if you shoot a target with a rifle, you are scum. Gotta be kiddin' me.. Maybe I'd better sign up for yoga, meditation, and charm school and settle down..
