Share the feeling that taking game doing anything illegal is poaching. I'm looking at it from purely a Law enforcement standpoint. I know I'm stretching. Lol

For whatever the reason there are exceptions to shooting rules there is an exception to the 500ft gun discharge rule. Now I don’t know if it’s everywhere but I know it’s on Lake Ontario and the Finger Lakes. When water fowl hunting and shooting “OVER WATER” THE 500FT rule does not apply key words over water also not towards a house.

there are a few things illegal that i wouldn't consider poaching. I disagree with the sunset rule, but if you shoot a buck 20 minutes after sunset than that's poaching. Harvesting a deer with a 3 blade rage however to me doesn't feel like poaching.
