North and NE Winds most of April

Has anyone ever seen such a prolonged period of North and NE winds?  It seems odd to me.

I don't think we've seen one day with a south wind this month here in Liv Co.

A dry pattern for sure and not good for stream trout fishing.

I have noticed it a lot. I have tried for trout several times up at Olcott and Oak Orchard piers on Lake Ontario and there has been very little activity when I have been there. And it's a cold wind coming of the lake.

It sucks, I was hoping to go out of Olcott a time or two for Browns but a NNE wind makes it impossible in my 16'er

A friend said that they were biting good on the Delaware the other day, caught 7 in a few hours.
