I worked with dozens of them in a research facility...MY ex-wife, who is a college instructor, exposed me to many more who were her friends and cohorts... They are just people like the rest of us..Some have thier shit together and some are FULL of shit.. Oftentimes PHD = Piled High and Deep.... WNYBuckHunter Posted February 24, 2011 Share Posted February 24, 2011 I was wondering the same thing with the pictures but i would have to say I would trust my profesiors opinion in telling the what type of cat it was, seeing how he does make his living teaching students about animals, and has his Phd in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation, and as for the dragging deer up into trees, yes all cats, as well as bears and coyotes hide thier food, wether it be burying them or dragging them up into trees so they can feed later. I agree WNY....and everyone know that the only thing in North America that hides large game in trees is bigfoot Actually, do a little research on cougars, they do not drag their kills up into trees, they cover them up.
