skyzmine
just wondering how many film or try to film your hunt? I have tried with a mounted camera on the tree. I have filmed a ton, but with no luck getting the hit on film. so i bought a bow mount and camera with a wide angle lense to try again this season. jimbo91
I have thought about it for a few years, was gonna pick up a cheap camera and try this year. Be sure to upload or add a link if you manage to get a decent video
nyantler
I have so much footage that I have taken over the years.. much of which was done on high 8 film.. I need to get all of that footage converted so that I can put it on the computer.. this year I'm going digital
G-Man
if your going to be serious get the best camera you can buy with the lowest lux rating this is what lets you tape in low light. it is tough to film yourself and get the kill, i use a camera tree mount and tape my friends, for turkey a tripod on the ground with a good piviot head. extra batteries are a must! Digital hi def is in right now but most of us can get by with standard def. the price of these cameras has come way down and you can get a cannon gl2 for example very reasonable. I have as much or more fun filiming my friends as much as hunting myself!!
fasteddie
I tried it but ended up doing a bit after the hunt . I have one of the EPIC bow cams now but didn't really get anything . I thought I had it on a couple years ago but didn't so no pics . http://s271.photobucket.com/albums/jj146/parker-bows/?action=view¤t=FastEddieScores.mp4

jr.deerslayer
Cameras make everything more difficult, however i have harvested 3 or 4 deer with them and around 6 or 7 turkeys. the most important is to get a good tripod .
fasteddie
When you have a deer , etc coming into your shooting lane you can't be messing with buttons . My camcorder goes through a pause program before it will take video . I'd rather not get the video than to miss taking a shot .

Geno C
my brother does video / editing & Photography he is unreal with it really, a lot of talent but yet i can not convince him to come in the woods and film me... i guess its not for him. i always thought of doing it by myself but its hard enough to me me and the deer on the same page for a clean shot let alone bringing a camera in the mix for myself to film. hopefully one day i can get him to film me.
